The city of Cairns is often referred to as the 'adventure capital of Australia' simply because there is so much on offer from the natural landscape. Cairns does not boast many historical monuments or buildings as such but does boast beauty, the city has rainforest surrounding three of its sides and the beautiful Coral Sea on the fourth.
Cairns has become one of the most popular locations for those visitors seeking thrills, bungee jumping is at its best as those brave enough to have a go can do so from a tower that is located in the heart of the rainforest in the Saddleback Mountains. If this does not satisfy the urge for thrills then visitors can also complete a parachute jump and experience a sixty second free fall closely followed by a five minute breathtaking view.
