The highest percentages of French speaking Canadians reside in the city of Quebec with most Canadians outside of Quebec speaking English. Canadians possess a much softer accent than the Americans; there are a few words with different meanings to the true English interpretation. Canadians will say 'cup' where the English will say 'flask' and a traditional 'hen' party becomes a 'stagette' party in Canada.
