The Swan Training Institute (STI) is a medium sized language center that focuses on teacking English skills to students.  The school is comprised of spacious classrooms, a large computer room, on-campus library, and common areas for students to mingle and interact.  Field trips are often taken to the city of Dublin for festivals, art shows, music theater and other popular tourist opportunities.

STI stands for Swan Training Institute and they have been teaching students for approximately 20 years.

Teaching English at the STI Swan concentrates primarily on the four elements of language skills these are reading, writing, speaking and listening. A lot of the teaching involves the correct pronunciation of the words spoken and the art of orally communicating in a regular daily English language.

The classes are kept fairly small with the maximum number of students per class being 12; the STI Swan has a library for its students to use and also a computer room. English can be taught in special individual classes for one to one learning if the student prefers.

During the summer months the STI Swan establishment organise activities for 3 afternoons per week. Some of the excursions and activities will incur a fee and some are totally free of charge, trips are run to places such as Dublin Castle, Christchurch Cathedral and the Guinness Showroom. The STI Swan feels that the activities assist in helping the students to understand the Irish culture along with studying the language.
