Studying English in San Diego
The city of San Diego is a city created for the visitor as there is so much packed into it. Belmont Park delights the young and the old alike with its thrilling rides and seaside venue, the Dipper is one of the only two wooden rollercoaster's operating on the West Coast. It may not be as exciting as some of today's modern rides but it holds more charm and character than any modern day rollercoaster.
San Diego Zoo stands apart from others due to the wonderful enclosures that the inhabitants are housed in, their homes are constructed and designed to resemble their natural habitat as much as possible. There are approximately 4,000 animals at San Diego Zoo and over 6,000 different types of plant species.
The zoo has some amazing displays from Panda Central to Absolutely Apes and Polar Bear Plunge. There is also a simulated Asian rainforest and a great children's zoo where visitors are given the opportunity to be up close and personal with some adorably friendly animals.
Visit one of San Diego's finest shopping malls, Fashion Valley; it boasts over 220 of the city's stores and restaurants. Seaport Village is shopping with a big difference because you do not feel as though you are actually shopping. The four miles of tree lined pathways and breathtaking panoramic views over the San Diego bay probably have a lot to do with the relaxed atmosphere.
