Studying the English language in the country of Scotland surrounded by the Scots themselves will undoubtedly prove to be a challenging experience due to their own, specific accent. That is not to say that it will be difficult or impossible but challenging in a positive way. The Scottish locals possess a very broad accent and it can be a little tricky to understand until you become accustomed to the sounds of their vocabulary.
The country of Scotland is a land packed full of lochs, mountains and a lot of history. A trip to Scotland would not be complete without trying to spot the elusive Loch Ness Monster before you leave. The monster resides in Loch Ness up in the highlands of Scotland. Reports associating the loch with a resident monster began during the 7th century. There have been numerous alleged sightings throughout the years, just remember to pack your binoculars and camera when you visit Loch Ness as you never know what you might see!
