Studying English in Sydney
The city of Sydney has a wonderfully laid back lifestyle married together with pure, natural beauty. It is Australia's oldest and largest city and is often referred to as the 'Gateway to Australia' with its stunning harbour and golden Bondi and Palm beaches. The Royal Botanic Gardens are home to native fruit bats and 30 hectares of beautifully themed gardens.
Visitors can take a walk on the wild side by taking a trip to Taronga Zoo or Sydney's Wildlife World.
Chinatown is definitely worth a visit as it is full of colour, excitement and atmosphere. It is crammed full of restaurants, noodle bars and food halls. Situated to the west of the city of Sydney is the Hawkesbury River which runs through Hawkesbury Valley. There are numerous historical towns located within the valley that are completely surrounded by national parks.
Sydney harbour is a hive of activity and the city's natural playground. Visitors can jump aboard a leisurely cruise to explore the harbour further and to visit the Sydney Harbour National Park. The park includes the harbour islands and the surroundings and has been a park since 1975. The harbour islands include Shark Island, Clark Island and Goat Island.
