There is also an aquarium located in Stanley Park. Gastown is an area of the city containing shops, restaurants and bars. It is also home to a quaint steam clock, the clock was built to actually cover up a steam grate. The clock was placed there as a method of harnessing the steam and to prevent the public from being scalded.
Whilst in the Gastown vicinity of Vancouver pay a visit to The Old Spaghetti Factory. This was first opened in the year 1970 with a very simple concept behind it, take an old warehouse and pop some antique goods on display then serve the best pasta around. The service is outstanding and the food is delicious.
