The Odyssea is situated right at the heart of the pedestrianized region of the city of Montpellier and is housed in a beautiful 17^th century building.

Studying French at the Odyssea is a positive and fun experience. The teachers work hard to ensure that their students learn how to view French as a fun language to study and to learn. There is just as much emphasis placed on learning the language outside of the school as inside it. They believe that the best way for their students to learn is to encourage them to speak French in normal daily situations with French speaking locals.

There are 3 basic levels with the Odyssea and these are basic, independent and proficient. When students arrive they are set a general French test, this allows the school to ascertain the student's level in the language and decide which class they should be assigned to.

The Odyssea has internet access available and the class sizes are kept small to maintain a higher quality of teaching. Students are monitored and their study is reviewed on a weekly basis, those that complete the French course satisfactorily receive a certificate in French study.
