Studying German in Freiburg
Freiburg is situated in the Breisgau region and is on the Western edge of the beautiful Black Forest. The Black Forest itself is well worth a visit and boasts several rivers snaking their way through it. One place to definitely try and find time for on your agenda is Triberg, this is a region within the Black Forest area.
Triberg has many attractions to see including the cascading Triberg waterfalls, the falls are the highest throughout Germany. Then there is the world's biggest cuckoo clock and not forgetting the delicious Black Forest gateaux.
When you walk around the city of Freiburg take a look downwards and look at the floors most of them are beautifully decorated with colourful stones and pebbles creating mosaic patterns.
The residents of Freiburg are very friendly and especially welcoming to visitors so studying within the city is a pleasure.
