The Sprachschule zum Ehrstein Freiburg is conveniently located in the centre of town. It is within close proximity of the Albert-Ludwig-University.

The school possesses a relaxed and friendly atmosphere where the teachers are willing to assist students with their accommodation, visas and even travel insurance if required. There are 8 classrooms all of which are well lit and spacious and equipped to take the maximum of 12 students at once.

There are 6 levels of German courses at the school and students are assessed upon arrival to determine which group they should be placed into. Starting dates and hours studied can be flexible if needed and there is a well stocked library on the complex.

German courses take between 8 and 12 weeks to complete a single level and the lessons are 45 minutes long. The more advanced students can partake in intensive German courses. There is a student common room available with comfortable couches, tables, a piano and vending machines making it the perfect place to unwind and relax. There is an outside decking area to enjoy the evening sunshine and a tasty barbecue that the school often holds.

The school has an internet / computer room with access to the internet. There are DVD's, TV's, overhead projectors and plenty of textbooks available to support learning.
